About Research & Analysis Division (RAD)
The Research and Analysis Division (RAD) provides Harris County leaders with the tools to ensure that decisions are rooted in evidence and focused on improving residents’ quality of life by assessing the effectiveness of county programs, forecasting trends, and identifying areas for improvement.
Major responsibilities include:
- Conducting quantitative and qualitative research
- Supporting program evaluation Performing benchmarking against other jurisdictions
- Publishing dashboards to make County data available to the community
