Celebrate America Recycles Day on November 15 at the North Channel Branch Library – Safely Recycle Your Old Electronics and Drop Off Food Waste for Composting!

The North Channel Branch Library, in collaboration with the Houston Zoo, Moonshot Compost, and the Harris County Public Library, invites the community to an electronics recycling and community food waste drop-off event on Saturday, November 15, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Bring your handheld device, such as smartphones and tablets, to the library for secure, environmentally responsible recycling. You can also drop off food scraps and other organic materials for composting. This easy, community-friendly event helps reduce e-waste, keep harmful materials out of landfills, and support sustainable resource reuse.
